Beauty and Make-up Blog...
Welcome to my makeup & beauty blog!! If you have spent time looking at my web site then you will know my name is Georgina and that I adore make up and the different looks you can achieve.
We all need a little help and advise from time to time so I have listed below a few handy tips which I hope you find useful...
What advise would I give a bride when she's deciding how to have her wedding day make-up?
I think the most important thing is to keep your make-up natural, individual and done by a professional. Your husband wants to see the woman he knows not a stranger walking down the aisle. A good, professional make-up artist may apply a slight slant on your usual look but the main difference should be perfect, subtle application that suits you completely or in simple terms “ a polished version of yourself”
What shades of lipstick help my teeth appear whiter?
I would recommend a raspberry lipstick as this tends to suit most skin tones and their blue undertones help give the illusion of whiter teeth.
Additional tips for brides on their wedding day...
Make sure you keep your make up as natural as possible, daylight can be quite unflattering if you pile on the make up and can highlight even the smallest of mistakes, like foundation that doesn't match your skin tone.
Powder should be ultra fine and only a minimum amount is required, otherwise it can reflect the flash camera and result in a super white looking face on the pictures.
Thanks for stopping by, until next time
Georgina
